Obituary of Derek Gilman Thomas-Hussen

THOMAS-HUSSEN, Derek Gilman, 46, of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away on October 12, 2020.  He was born in Trinadad and Tobago and moved to Florida in 1984. Derek was an electrical journeyman for International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers before becoming Disabled.

He enjoyed listening to music and riding his bike. He is preceded in death by his Father, Gilman Thomas-Hussen and Uncle Brian Antoine.  Derek is survived by his two Aunts Gerarda Delmas, Hilary Gittens; two Uncles Patrick Antoine, Richard Antoine; two Nieces Lori Moran, Sarah Diamond and many cousins; Mother, Marion Thomas-Hussen; two Sisters,  Tara Thomas-Hussen and Lara Denise Diamond.  A funeral service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Sunday, October 18, 2020 at 3pm.  The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.
