Obituary of Michael F. Sansevero

SANSEVERO, Michael, 89, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012. He was born in North Haven, CT to Michele and Guiseppina (Cimmino) Sansevero. Michael was a farmer in Northford, CT for over 40 years and owned Mike’s Package Store. He also served for more than 35 years with the North Branford Volunteer Fire Department and retired as assistant fire chief. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, of 63 years, Dorothy Ann (Roache). He was also preceded in death by brothers, Dominic, Tony, Frank, Joe and Pat; sister, Theresa Piacentini. Michael is survived by two sons, Michael (Sandra), and Andrew (Rosemary) both of CT; daughter, Joanne Loughlin, (Jim) of FL; niece, Carolyn Haux (Dan Leroux); 7 grandchildren, Sharon …(Greg) of WI, Stan “BJ” Burrows (Marlene), Andrew, Kathryn, James, Elizabeth and Michael Sansevero all of CT; and 5 great grandchildren, DC, Mikey, Kyle, Kevin, and his “sidekick buddy” Kegan Michael. His extended family in Florida also includes Jimmy and Roxane, Mike, Jamie and Christie, Devon and Darrion, Keturah, Sean, Racheal, Cash and Max Loughlin, Christie and Bart Miller, Ryan Holden and Kinzie Potter. He will be missed by his large and loving family. Local services are private. Interment will be held this spring in CT at St. Lawrence Cemetery, West Haven. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to HPH Hospice
