I am so thankful for the wonderful memories of the years that Marie and Gary went with us skiing, of the years we spent at their special bit of heaven in n.c. we laughed and ate and laughed and ate---she made us feel that we were so special as she did with all her friends. she and i loved the same simple things - our flea market finds, beautiful wild flowers growing on the mountain side, the hammock, the beautiful leaves, gosh i will miss her so---take care, Gary.

Exuberant, Joyful, Zealous and Fun Loving. That was Marie. She loved the beach and the mountains. She loved cooking and entertaining, staying in and going out. She loved playing bridge, playing mah jongg, reclining in her hammock and reading a good book. She just loved life, squeezing pleasure out of every day, but was the happiest if family and friends surrounded her. The more the merrier. Her home - like her spirit - were open, hospitable and welcoming. She was full of life and laughter, with a great big smile, a robust laugh, and a loving heart. As a friend, she was truthful, compassionate, and steadfast. We all felt her love and knew she held our interest at heart. Not having her on this earth will create a void in my life and an emptiness in my heart. But I take great comfort in knowing that she is in a far better place.

Dear Gary & Family, In faith & love our prayers are with you now and for the days to come that you may know the comfort and compassion of our Father God for you in Jesus Christ with the loss of your dear wife & life-friend, mother, grandmother, sister or aunt--Marie. As the Bible says, we do not sorrow as does the world without hope, for "We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in Him." (1Th.4:14) So, though we sorrow with you for your & our loss, we also rejoice with you for her Home-Coming--Jn.14:1-3. With all our love & prayers, Herman & Ros Weits--2Cor.13:14 & Rom.15:13.
