I worked for probably 37 years with Tom back in Dayton. He was a good, clear thinking and hard working friend. I was shocked to hear of his passing. Along with John Speers, we had met last January for lunch. I have fond memories of Tom and am truly saddened by the message of his passing. He is surely in a better place.

May God give you and your family comfort at this difficult time. U worked at the AFRL at WPAFB and was a friend of Lee Gulley that informed me of this unfortunate event. Remember, " God will give you no burden that you cannot endure.... time heals and memories are for ever with us." Again, God give you peace and comfort.

Jane felt there should be a beautiful place to spend time with her thoughts. A place to go to find peace and comfort from this tragic loss in our lives. She found the perfect spot. The Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. We are planning a Celebration of Tommy's life on the date of his birthday next year, Friday, February 15, 2012. Time is set for 10:30am. This cemetery honors America’s veterans and Thomas A. Dusz will be interned with Full Military Honors. I am so proud of my brother and so pleased that Jane knew exactly what would help to bring some comfort to all of us.

Tom had so many wonderful qualities that made him a very special man. He adored my best friend, Jane, and she loved him with all her heart. Whenever I stayed with them at their home, Tom made me feel like I was part of the family. I am forever grateful to have known Tom and to have been touched by his spirit.

Evan after his move to FL we talked many times a week. All my sympathy to Jane and the many whos lives he touched.

Tom was a truly loving and giving person, a man of integrity and ideals. He spoke his mind when he felt his opinion would help, and listened to all other opinions as well. In addition, he was the man who made my little sister the happiest of women, gave her and her children love and affection, and this with all his other qualities, earned him a place in my heart as well. Be at peace, and welcome Home.

From the very beginning of my life to the last breath I take I will always cherish Tommy Toes. He started very early on pulling on my diapers to tease me, Mom would say, you better stop that teasing her, and did he listen, no..55 yrs later I was still the brat and hiding snakes in my yard was the most recent prank, the lizard in my linen closet, the boogie man under my bed...He was there when I needed him to move my stuff to Florida, he walked me through wiring an 8 track in my Demon, we went skiing on his 30th birthday, his 1st and last time, when I was living in Ohio as a newly married girl, every chance I had I headed to my bro's. When he returned from Nam and I was a young girl, he gave me my first lecture on birth control always looking out after me and protecting me, always the one I could turn to for council and protection. I know you are watching, guiding and protecting me still, I am so sorry that I could not protect you, if I had been then for you, I would give you my heart dear brother for now mine is shattered. Your death is so terribly wrong.

I only got to meet Tom a few times but from those few times I found Tom to be very thoughtful. He made delishious cakes for Jane's staff members at work for special occaisions. He took the time to make sure that Jane had special diet hot dogs for me on hot dog day at work. I thought this was very sweet and thoughtful. Tom will be remembered for all the thoughtful things he did that touched peoples lives.

You now belong to the guardian angle club, don't be surprised when Michael ask why you didn't bring the Harley. You will be deeply missed and thought of. With Love, Liz and Sammy

I am honoring my brother,Thomas A Dusz, who served in the 1st Cav from 1969 to 1972. He was shipped to Cambodia when "we weren't there". He received a Purple Heart and took away from The Vietnam Conflict damage to his body that has now made him a causality of WAR. Agent Orange would be the destructive chemical, what were we thinking? What are we thinking? WAR, good God, what is it good for absolutely nothing, say it again. I honor you my loving brother, my pillar, my strength and I thank you for your service to our country.
