A great friend since 1958 when Shirleey & I moved to Florida; he helped me get settled, and has been a good friend since. We worked together at Most Holy Redeemer Church, he was a leader in scouting ad K/C, and in parish activities

So sorry to learn of Jim's death. He was a very loyal Knight of Columbus who worked for our agency prior to his retirement. He did much for the Order and recruited more members into the Knights of Columbus than any agent during his tenure. Unfortunately, I'm just getting out of the hospital with hip surgery and can't say goodbye personally. He was a great man. - Michael Aun, General Agent, Knights of Columbus.

I am so sorry to hear about Jim’s passing. He was a great guy. He helped me considerably with our family tree, particularly info he told me about when he lived in Oil City. The video tribute was a nice touch. Please know that Jim and yourselves are in our prayers. God Bless

One of the nicest men I have ever met has been called home. Your earthly presence will never be forgotten. You have touched so many with your gifts you carried with you. My heart and prayers go out to the family of Mr. powers. The Powers family time in Roswell seems so short now in the grand scheme of life but I am so happy to have known them while here. MY sincerest condolences to Jim, David, George, Mary and Debbie. Danny Turner Roswell, GA.
