Just having heard of Tracey's death leaves me with a great sense of loss. Tracey grew up here in Sierra Pines along side of my children but it was only after my children were gone that she and I beacame good friends. The start of a beautiful friendship started over animals. Tracey loved animals and was my pet sitter when I went on my many trips and my one cat, Ben, loved Tracey so much because she got right down on the floor and loved on him. Tracey was a very good friend and I hope her family, especially Kirk and Troy rwealize that she is where she spoke of so often. And she has no pain. God bless her friends and her family. I loved you lots Tracey and I will miss you. The Mercier Family

I just got the sad news of Tracey's passing today. Tracey used to live across the street from my mother (Maureen Mercier). She was always a friend of my mother and showed her kindness always. I knew I could always count on Tracey to check in on my mother since I lived in another state. She was a beautiful and uplifting person. May she rest in peace until the resurrection.

Tracey's Birthday is (Feb.28) This Sunday. May we all have a Moment of Silence in Prayer on her Birthday to Remember her and her Loved Ones. Tracey's Favorite Poem is Footprints in the Sand. This was spoken at her Celebration of Life Service in Land O' Lakes, Florida by her Brother, Troy. He and his wife, Brenda did a wonderful job with everything. Other speakers at her service were: Tracey's Father, Charles, her Best Friend, Dorothy, her Long Time Friend, Mary, her Niece, Heather, Troy & Brenda's Daughter and her Long Time Husband and Friend, Kirk. There were also 10 people who spoke at her services in Trenton, Florida. Tracey has several people who Love Her. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TRACEY!!!

To the Family and Friends of Tracey Jeanine Phipps-Smith. We are Proud to say that Tracey has so many people who Loves her that she had Two Memorial Services. The first one at her local (Union Baptist Church in Trenton, Florida) with her Pastor Travis and her Church Friends. Also, the second one at (Loyless Funeral Home) in Land O' Lakes, Florida with her Family, Friends, Neighbors, Former School Class Mates and Former Co-Workers. The Memorial Services were Very Blessed to have over 100 people in attendance at both services combined. We have all lost someone Very Dear to us and words alone cannot express this sudden loss and saddness that we share. May We Trust in God to Comfort Us and to Guide Us Everyday. He will give us the Strength we need to live our lives the best we can. Although, we may never fully understand this whole situation clearly and why it happened; We need to have Faith that Our Lord Jesus is handling Everything for us. (He Will Cover You With His Feathers and Under His Wings You Will Find Refuge. Psalm 91:4)

Losing someone you love is one of the worst things we experience in this life. Tracey was a great cousin. When we were kids and we played together...she was a few years older than me and she would always play the Moma and I was her little girl. I will cherish those times I spent with her. As I read other people's posts and hear how kind and loving she was to each person, I will miss those times we spent together. I am sad that we lived so far apart in these last years and I had not seen her recently. Losing Tracey is a huge loss to our family. I pray that our family will look to Jesus to for comfort in this loss. Psalm 46:1 "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble."

Tragedies such as this often cause us to question our faith only to have it reaffirmed by the out pouring of love and support that is given by family, friends, loved ones. I know that God will welcome Tracey into his loving arms and give her an everlasting life that we can only pray to have one day. I love you Tracey, as a sister of my own. I know that for me, my life will always have a void but I will remain hopeful that one day we WILL meet again. God bless you and keep you Tracey.
