Obituary of Tracey Jeanine Smith

SMITH, Tracey Jeanine Phipps, 44, of Trenton, FL passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2010. Tracey was born in Columbia, South Carolina on February 28, 1965 to Charles and Ann Backman. She moved to Florida in 1972 and graduated from Land O’ Lakes High School in 1985. Tracey lived life to the fullest, when you were down she always made you laugh. She always had something positive to say and loved the outdoors, the beach, animals and especially “Gomer” her beloved parrot. She is survived by her parents, Charles and Ann Backman; two brothers, Troy Phipps and his wife, Brenda and Tim Reynolds and his wife, Audrey; grandmother, Lillie Reynolds; niece, Heather Mauk and her husband, Josh and nephew, Jeremy Dutille and his wife, Kristina. Tracey was loved by all of her family and friends. May she rest in peace. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family in memory of Tracey. A celebration of her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 19th at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
