Obituary of Josefine B. Starkey

STARKEY, Josefine B., 70, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away January 29, 2009. She was born in Beschaka, Yugoslavia and grew up in Germany. She relocated several times with her husband’s military and work career, and then settled in Land O’ Lakes, in 1996. Her personal mission in life was to promote peace and kindness among individuals. Family was most important to Josefine and she enjoyed being a mother to everyone around her, people just naturally called her mom. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert; sons, Robert J. Starkey, Albert L. Starkey and Charles Crank all of Land O’ Lakes and William E. Starkey and his wife, Brenda of Jacksonville, FL; daughters, Hannelore Kramer of Tampa, Anna M. Frechette and her husband Louis of Canton, MI, Delores J. Starkey of Saline, MI and Sandra D. Olson of Davenport, FL; brothers, Egon Heib and his wife, Veronica and Herman Heib and his wife, Nancy; twenty-two grandchildren and nineteen great great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at Loyless Funeral Home on Tuesday February 3 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. hn glover death datepsychology and lung cancer
