Her daughters were Lupe and Leonor. Her sisters were Milagros Cruz Arnau and Ana Rosa Cruz Tirado.Her nieces were Carmen Tirado Fortier and Lizzette Tirado. She had 6 grandchildren, Lizzie, Marcus, Omar, Paco, Lupita, and Andreas. And 5 great grandchildren. Mia, Julius, the twins Maya and Kayla, and Francisco.

Esther was the matriarch of her family. She was well known for her culinary skills, and everyone enjoyed her meals that she so loved to prepare. Esther retired from the post office in New York City. She was well liked and admired by her coworkers and customers. She always had a calm and friendly disposition.

Those who were fortunate enough to have known her always spoke fondly of her friendly hospitality and always willing to help those in need.
