Nancy Passante

Obituary of Nancy Patricia Passante

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Nancy Passante on September 12, 2023. Born on March 17, 1946, Nancy was a beacon of light in the lives of all who knew her.

Nancy's life was a tapestry of love, family, and adventure. She was a fiercely dedicated mother to Michael, Melissa, and Robert and a loving grandmother to Daniel, Andrew, Derek, Gabrielle, and Dominic. Her role as a grandmother was a source of immeasurable joy for her, and she nurtured deep connections with each of them through shared laughter, stories, and adventures. Her great-granddaughter, Zoë, brought an additional layer of joy and love to her life.

In addition to her roles as a mother and grandmother, Nancy was a cherished daughter and sister. Her love and support extended to her family in every way, bringing warmth and happiness to their lives each day.

Nancy's love story with her husband, Paul, was nothing short of remarkable. They grew up on the same block, sharing their childhoods and forming a bond that would last a lifetime. In 1969, they embarked on their journey of love by marrying, and together, they celebrated 54 wonderful years of marriage. Their enduring partnership was a testament to the strength of their love and commitment.

Nancy's passion for life was evident in her love for the Florida lifestyle. She was often seen in her signature bedazzled flip-flops, a symbol of her vibrant spirit. She had an insatiable passion for reading, which she shared with her family, and her culinary talents were a source of delight for all who had the privilege of tasting her dishes.

One of Nancy's greatest pleasures was spending quality time with her family, and she made every moment count. She also had a deep affection for travel, exploring the world through vacations and cruises creating enduring memories with her loved ones.

Nancy's legacy is one of love, laughter, and the appreciation of life's simple joys. The family came first and was above all else to Nancy, a value she instilled in all those around her. The hole left by her absence is impossible to fill. Her warm smile and kind heart will be remembered by all who had the honor of knowing her.
