Obituary of Nancy Local

Nancy Carol Local, 88 of Land O' Lakes, FL passed away Tuesday August 29, 2023. She was born in Chesterton, IN and moved to Land O' Lakes from Michigan City, IN in 1954. She was an Administrative Assistant for the Pasco County School Board. She was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Nancy is preceded in death by her father Iver Johnsen; mother Veda Johnsen; husband James L. Local Sr; son James A. Local and daughter-in-law Jane D. Local. She is survived by sisters Beverly Sperry (Frank; Karen Thomas (Jim); brothers Andrew Johnsen (Erlene); Kenneth Johnsen (Edie); daughters Carol Betts (William), and Janice Davis, grandson James A. Local Jr. and granddaughter Darleen Local (Dan Desvousges).
