Obituary of Noel Sedivy Draine

Noel Sedivy Draine, 85, passed peacefully on the 4th of July 2023. She was born on March 10, 1938, to Garnett Noel and Charles Joseph Sedivy who preceded her in death. She married Wesley Davis (Dave) Draine on June 25, 1960, near Dinwiddie County, Virginia and he survives.
 
Also surviving are her son, Jeffrey (Debora) Draine of Wallingford, Pennsylvania and Betsy Draine of Land O’ Lakes, Florida; Two grandchildren Holly (Jacob) and Madeline (Naomi); and a great granddaughter Sookie. 
 
Noel retired in 2000 after working more than 30 years as an Extension Agent for the State of Virginia, following in her father’s footsteps.  Shortly thereafter, she and Dave moved to Land O’ Lakes, Florida to enjoy retirement. 
 
Noel loved to cook and had a special place in her heart for any and all animals. She is survived by her beloved Shih Tzu, Sophie. 
 
As there is no service planned, the family asks that remembrances be made in the form of any donation type or amount to Pasco County Animal Services.
