One of my favorite memories was Uncle Glen’s visit to Pa and staying at our home with Patty. I am so glad we got to spend those days together. He always had a way of making others laugh. He seemed to look at the good side of things and make the most out of life. He has such a good memory. Those were very special days together and I remember how much he loved our little dog Yankee and they became buddies. When we went to Florida we had fun going out to his favorite restaurants and he knew them all. I have many memories of the past with Uncle Glen and Aunt Sylvia, family vacations and picnics in Grandma’s back yard. He was always there to make you smile. It’s sad when distance separates you and we grow apart. Uncle Glen never changed, he could tell a story, recite a memory and remained a sweetheart for his 97 years. Our times together were precious.
