Obituary of Beverly Alva Black

Beverly Ava Black, 95 of Brooksville, Florida passed away peacefully on December 1, 2022.  She was born in Galesburg, Illinois to Hudson & Elsie Tedman, and she was the youngest of five girls.  Her family moved to California where Beverly attended school  She received an AA in business from Glendale Community College and worked as a secretary for Price Waterhouse.  She later received a GG Certification from The Gemological Institute of America.

Beverly had a love for painting, traveling, visiting her family and friends and most of all she loved Jesus.  She loved her home church Grace World in Brooksville, Florida and was active in Bible study groups and in ministering to widows in the church.  She was dearly loved by all who knew her, and she blessed everyone who came in contact with her.

Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill Black and her four sisters: Pauline, Marjorie, Gale and Priscella.

Beverly had no children of her own but is survived by loved ones in California, Arizona, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
