Obituary of William "Bill' Stocks

William Stocks left this Earth for his eternal dance party on March 16, 2022. He was born on June 24, 1947 in Flint, Michigan and moved to Florida at a young age. Bill graduated from Dunedin High School and St. Pete Junior College and worked for Military Distributors and Walmart.

Bill, also known as the “Candyman,” loved a good time and was a member of the Gauchos. He rarely missed a dance at the American Legion and enjoyed Beach Bopper events. He was passionate about sports and loved watching the Bucs and the Seminoles play. He coached little league baseball for years and was so proud of his players and his teams. There wasn’t a fish he couldn’t catch and he passed his love of the water down to his sons.

William is preceded in death by Madeline Parker and Edgar Parker.  He is survived by his sons, Nick (Meagan) and Jason.  Four grandchildren, Lily, Payton, Faith, and Avery.  His sisters, Diane Durrance, Janice Goudy, Debbie Moore, Jan Sharrow, and his nieces and nephews.
