Obituary of Charles Emmett Pope

Charles Emmett “Chuck” Pope, 69 of Spring Hill, passed away June 13, 2020. He is survived by his beloved wife of over 49 years, Sheila; son and daughter-in-law, Charles Robert “Rob” and Lisa Pope; daughter and son-in-law, Sonya Jean and Mark Engel; one brother, Clifford Herbert Pope, II and 1 sister, Debbie Beasley. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren, Faith, Casey, Gracie, Emma, Andrew, Mackenzie, Savannah and Adam and his great-grandson, Malcom.

Chuck was born in Cherokee, Alabama and moved to Florida in 1989 from there. He retired as a property manager from Lazy Days RV, was Baptist, a 32^nd Degree Mason (also a Past Lodge Master), played golf, enjoyed hunting and fishing and coached softball and baseball. He mostly enjoyed being with his family.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 16 from 6-8 pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O’Lakes Blvd. Land O’Lakes, Florida 34639 with Funeral Services and burial to take place on Friday at Harris Chapel in Cherokee, Alabama.
