Obituary of George G Sentementes

 
George G. Sentementes, 71, of Port Richey, FL passed away February 26, 2020. He was born in Kalamata, Greece, on May 5, 1948 and emigrated to United States of America at the age of 12. George had lived in Norwalk, Fairfield, and other locations in Connecticut, and graduated from Norwalk High School, Norwalk, CT, Class of 1968.
 
He served in the United States Navy from 1969 to 1971, on USS Marias, as a fireman and was a small business owner and entrepreneur throughout his lifetime.
 
He was preceded in death by his parents, Gus and Lefky Sentementes. 
 
George is survived by his son, Gus Sentementes and his wife, Karen Sentementes and their three children in Maryland; his son, Steve Sentementes and his wife, Lainie Sentementes, and two children, in Massachusetts. Also surviving is his brother, Steve Sentementes of CT; sister, Kathy Angelos of CT; his longtime girlfriend, Lynn Fleming of Florida; and many additional extended family members in Connecticut.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, March 3 from 9-10 am at Loyless Funeral Home, 5310 Land O'Lakes Blvd, Land O'Lakes, FL 34639 with sharing to take place at 10 am followed by burial and military honors being rendered at 12:30 pm at Florida National Cemetery, in Bushnell, Florida.
