Obituary of Susan Preuss

Susan Carey Preuss, of Land O'Lakes, passed away August 6, 2019.Susan moved to Florida in 2013 from Illinois and she is survived by her daughters, Gwen (Reno) Sprague, Lynn (Vance) Verdoorn and Sara Preuss; 2 sisters, Janice (Dan) Hirstein and Michelle (Doug) Schmidt. Also surviving are her grandchildren, Kalista Sprague, William Verdoorn, and Layla Verdoon. Susan retired from Bed, Bath & Beyond and was predeceased by her husband, Donald in 2016. She was a loving mother and grandmother and always put her family first. A Celebration of her Life will be held on Saturday, August 17 from 5-6 pm with a service to take place beginning at 6 pm at Loyless Funeral Home 5310 Land O'Lakes Blvd. Land O'Lakes, FL 34639. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital. The family has entrusted care and services to Loyless Funeral Home.
