Obituary of Edna June Hoge

HOGE, Edna June, 73, of Lutz, Florida passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019. She was born in Bronx, New York and moved to Lutz from New York in 1990. Edna graduated from Walton High School in the Bronx. She enjoyed watching golf and The Hallmark Channel. She was proud to have been the “Band Grandma” for Ashley’s school, Sunlake High School. Edna loved going to Disney and her favorite character was Eeyore. Anything having to do with butterflies, she adored. She also loved the color purple and anyone attending the Celebration of Life has been asked by the family to wear the colors black and purple.  Edna is preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Charles A. Hoge Sr., and her brother, Daniel T. Madorran. She is survived by her son, Charles A. Hoge Jr. and his wife, Andrea Bolek; her daughter, Laura Hoge and her husband, Matt Marotta; two grandchildren, Kristen Claire Hoge and Ashley Lyn Marotta; and many loving nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at Loyless Funeral Home in Land O’ Lakes on Monday, March 11, 2019 at 2:00 pm. Family will receive friends one hour prior.
