Obituary of Katharine Griffith Willis

WILLIS, Katharine “Kathy” Griffith Willis, 69, of Land O' Lakes went home Tuesday, July 24, 2012, to her Savior the Lord in Heaven where there are many mansions with streets of gold and gates of pearls. She was born in Poplar Bluff, MO and raised in Tampa. She was a secretary for the Paso County School Board and attended First Baptist Church of Land O' Lakes. Kathy was also a published Florida romance novelist. She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Ron; daughter, Ronda; three step children, Susan, Ron, Jr. and Cricket; sister, Valli; nine grandchildren and a great grandson. A memorial service will take place at First Baptist Church of Land O' Lakes on Saturday, August 4, 2012 at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in Kathy's memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice.
