Obituary of Ernest G. Mikulla

MIKULLA, Ernest G., “Ernie”, of Lutz, FL, passed away Wednesday, June 27, 2012. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA, graduated from Baldwin High School, served 2 years in the U. S. Army and received an Associate Degree from Point Park College. He worked 25 years at Ketchum, Macleod & Grove Advertising Agency. Ernie and his wife Bonnie retired to Florida in 1998. Shortly afterward, he started an “important” career as a school bus driver for the Pasco County School System. He truly enjoyed his job, the children and his co-workers. Ernie was known for his kindness, sense of humor and always had a smile for everyone. He loved his camp friends, North and South, and will be remembered as a gifted volleyball player that enjoyed sharing his V-Ball knowledge with up and coming players. Ernie is survived by Bonnie, his wife of 48 years; son, Dean and his wife, Trish of Maryland and his Aunt Toots of Pittsburgh. The family wishes to thank the many friends for their love and concern for Ernie. Services will be announced at a later date. Donations may be made in his name to the Gulfside Regional Hospice.
