Obituary of Joseph J. Jurik

JURIK, Joseph, 87, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away May 8, 2012. He was born in East Chicago, IN and lived in Highland, IN. In 2004, he moved to FL. Joseph was a United States Army Veteran and a general foreman for Inland Steel Company. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He is preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth and his daughter, Janet. He is survived by his son, Jerry and his wife, Susan; daughter, Nancy and her husband, Jan; sister, Anna Williams; four grandchildren, Jennifer Garcia (Marcos), Keith Umbaugh, Andrew and Joel Jurik; two great grandchildren, Matthew and Ryan Joseph Garcia. A memorial service to honor Joseph’s life will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 19th at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Joseph's final resting place will be in Concordia Cemetery in Hammond, IN.
