Obituary of Trez David Neeley

NEELEY, Trez David, “Frick”, 78, of Lutz, FL went Home on May 1, 2012. Trez moved to Lutz from Columbia, SC in 1950 and has been a big part of the Lutz Community ever since. He was always there for his kids, coaching little league, spending quality time with his grandchildren sorting nails in the garage, going to yard sales, watching the Grand Ole Opry, and spending time with his dog, Harley. He was the greatest wood worker ever. You could not have hand picked a better husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend. We were all blessed for knowing him and having him in our lives. He is survived by the love of his life of 59 years, Betty; three children, David (Donna), Deborah Garcia (Jimmy) and Danny (Wendy); six grandchildren, Mandy McCord, Shawn Neeley, Melissa Simoni (Mark), Anthony Blasingame, Megan Neeley and Jaime Garcia; one great granddaughter, Shelby McCord; his lap dog, Harley; sister, Doris Ralston; brother, Larry Mercier (Frack) and his wife, Sarah; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. A funeral service will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Lutz. Interment will follow at Lutz Cemetery. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday evening at Loyless Funeral Home. Donations may be made in his memory to the Lutz Volunteer Fire Department.
