Obituary of KayJuan Fisher

FISHER, KayJuan, “K.J.”, 59, of Land O’ Lakes, FL passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2012. She was born in Lubbock, TX and moved to FL in 1987. She worked with Verizon for more than 15 years. She was a member of Post 4932 VFW Ladies Auxiliary and past president of Lutz Land O’ Lakes chapter as well as District 12. K.J. enjoyed reading, especially science fiction and mysteries, traveling with family and friends, anything Disney, cooking, trying out new recipes and caring for her animals. She is survived by her husband, James; daughter, Marie Fisher of Tampa; stepson, Robert Fisher and his wife, Ruth of Springfield, VA; mother, Wanda Hedgcoth of Tampa; brother, Andy Bessent and his wife, Susan of Villa Grove, IL; grandson, Nick; nieces, Tina Beesley of IL, Lisa Call of NC and Anna Washington who is stationed at McDill AFB, TAmpa; nephew, Paul Bessent and Matthew both of IL. A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 11 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Her final resting place will be at the Florida National Cemetery. Donations may be made in her memory to Gulfside Regional Hospice.
