I knew Pat was ill but was not aware she has passed until doing Christmas cards this year. We lost touch when I left the Tampa area. Pat was a sweet, gentle and very kind person that I worked with at the City of Tampa. I always remember with a smile the happy times I met with Pat & Whalen to share a meal at a local restaurant. God bless you Whalen and all your family as you share your first Christmas without her wonderful presence. Love and prayers, Nancy

Pat was my Mom's best friend. God only knows how much Pat influenced our family and maybe even saved some lives. Our family will forever be indebted to Pat for being in our lives and being such a wonderful friend to our family. Now we pray that God will richly bless her in heaven. I know my Mom and Dad are celebrating her arrival in heaven and we look forward to seeing her there. The Shatraw family are in our thoughts and prayers.

I met Patty through working with her at the City of Tampa. She always had a smile on her face and was always willing to assist in any endevour that was presented. Her kind actions and words, along with her gentle demeanor are part of the wonderful rememberances I have of her. God will surely smile on her as he welcomes her to spend eternity with him. Even though I had not seen her in years, I am certain she always had remained the caring and gentle Patty that I knew. May God bless her and her family.

My husband and myself had the privlege of meeting and re-acquanting with Pat and Whalen over the course of the twenty years or so that my cousin Kim has been married to their son John. Just from knowing John as such a remarkable man and caring cousin in law , just reaffirmed the fact that he came from such a wonderful ,sweet and caring Mom such as Pat, and dad such as Whalen. The times that our paths crossed were so memorable! Pat always embraced with such a warmth, such a sweetness, a genuine loving woman! And Whalen also, such a perfect pair.God put togeather a wonderful pairing in those two! She will surely be missed! May the Lord continue to embrace this family , special love we send to Whalen,John, and Kim , as well as Yvonne and Robbie. Terry and Dale Ninness

We often lay awake at night, when the world is fast asleep, and take a walk down memory lane with tears uopn our cheeks. Remembering my Mom will be easy and I will do it every day, But missing her is a heartache that will never go away. I will hold her tightly in my heart and there she will remain. Please God, forgive a silent tear, and a fervent wish that Mom was here. There are others, yes we know, but my Mom was special, I loved her so. Dear God Please take a message to Mom in heaven above, Tell her how much we miss her and give her all our love. Love you & Miss you, Yvonne & Robbie

Dear Whalen & Family, There are no words to express how sorry we are about Pat's passing. She was such wonderful neighbor and friend, who will be missed. Pat always made sure that those she cared about were doing okay. So many times she would come over just to check on us, bring soup or something she baked or a left over from dining out, just to share. And she made the best pecan pies! We will always have fond memories of spending time with her. You have our deepest sympathy, thoughts and prayers. God Bless. Bob & Natalie

Whalen, I'm so sorry for your loss. Pat was a great lady and a wonderful neighbor. She would bring me her baked cookies, which were wonderful, because she knew I was alone. When I expressed that I was depressed, she offered to spend time with me. That's just how caring a person she was. She will be truly missed.

I had the honor and pleasure of being Pat's daughter-in-law for almost 20 yrs. She was a wonderful mother-in-law, mom and grandmother. She had such a generous, caring heart and took such joy in wanting to take of anyone who was sick or needed any help. I loved her very much and I will miss her greatly.
