Obituary of Norman Frank Nelson

NELSON, Norman Frank, 86, of Lutz, Florida, passed away Saturday March 24, 2012. He was born in Madison, Wisconsin and was one of 13 children. He was a United States Navy veteran and served in World War II. He retired after 30 years as a printer and moved to Florida in 1972 where he worked in medical records at James A Haley VA Medical Center and University Community Hospital, Tampa. He was a life long member of the VFW in Madison, Wisconsin and a 32nd Degree Mason. His other memberships included Order of the Eastern Star, White Shrine and Order of the Amaranth, all of Tampa. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Arlene and three daughters, Carol Nelson of St. Petersburg, FL, Mary Regling and husband, Kurt of Orlando, FL, Becky Jacob and husband Don of McKinney, TX, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, nine brothers and sisters and many nieces and nephews. A committal service with military honors will be held at Arlington National Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to National Kidney Foundation, Finance Department, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016.
