Obituary of Susie Montenegro

MONTENEGRO, Susie, “Sweet Sue”, 83, Land O’ Lakes, FL. On Monday evening, March 19, 2012 a great light of the universe was extinguished. Sue was born in Hackensack, NJ and moved to FL in 1990. Sue was a dietician and retired from Hackensack Hospital. She was a member of the Knights of Columbus Ladies Auxiliary in Land O’ Lakes and the Deer Park Home Owners Association, NPR. Susie was loved by all who knew her and was a devoted grandma. She is preceded in death by her husband, Joe. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon Grant and her husband, Russ of Land O’ Lakes; son, Patrick and his wife, Debbie of Rustburg, VA; brother, Rosario Trocano and his wife, Barbara of North Haledon, NJ; five grandchildren, Joseph, Jonathan, Carynn, Angelica and Summer. A celebration of Sue’s life will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. The interment will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at the Florida National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her name to the Gulfside Regional Hospice.
