Obituary of Ruby M Schlieker

SCHLIEKER, Ruby M., 88 of Thonotosassa, passed away Wednesday, January 18, 2012. She was born in Edmonton, Kentucky and moved to Florida from Ohio in 1970. She worked at Wright Field in Dayton, Ohio in aircraft maintenance and later as a nurse’s assistant on base. She married her husband, Harvey in 1945 and he preceded her in death in 1981. She was also preceded in death by close family friends, Virginia and Dave Scott. Ruby is survived by her son, Charles and his wife, Nadine of Lutz; grandchildren, Carla Randolph, Tina Flack (Jim), Bill Randolph (Teresa), and Tony Randolph; great grandchildren, Zeb, Grayson, Silas, Bronson, Ben, Presley and Hannah Ruth; niece, Joyce Vortman; dear family friends, Pamela Scott & Rita Johnson. A funeral service will held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, at the West Thonotosassa Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park, Tampa. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Church General Fund.
