I have many happy memories of all the Christmas eves that we spent with Aunt Jackie and Uncle Bynnie, Kevin, Kim and the rest of the Love family at Momsie and Popsies house. Aunt Jackie was always so sweet and had a great sense of humor. I remember our family spending a couple of days at Land of Lakes one summer when I was a child and how gracious and welcoming she was. She was such a lovely lady and will be greatly missed. My love and prayers to Uncle Byron, Kevin and Kim and family.

Aunt Jackie, where do I start? From my earliest memories you were in my life. The many week-ends as a child I spent with you and Uncle Bonnie. first in Jacksonville and then Tampa & Land O' Lakes. I loved going to your house, as you always treated me so special. Those times will always bring back special memories of you like the ice cream for Uncle Bonnie just before bedtime. or the time you searched our pockets before we left to make sure we didn't have Sassy with us. The first ime you met my husband you were so excited about my handsome date I brought to Grandma's during one of your week-end visit to Jacksonville. You welcomed him to our family and loved him equally along with me. As the years moved along my family continued to visit over week-ends whenever the opportunity arose. I can still see Uncle Bonnie with my young children on the dock at the lake fishing; they loved running around the orange and grapefruit trees selecting a piece of fruit to eat and riding horses,. My husband, children & grandchildren were always welcomed at your home. Your Fifty Wedding Anniversary brought the family Gaskins Family together one last time before the lake property was sold. During our last visit in September 2010 we had such a special week-end. We intended on staying at a local hotel as we had brought our Westie Nikki. along. You insisted we were to stay at your house. You fell in love with Nikki (I might add she was on her best behavior) that week-end. It has been a great honor to be your neice. I was the oldest of the Gaskins Family Grandchildren and we were such a close family. Someday I am sure we will be together again in Heaven. If you are not too busy I have a big list of family I would like for you to look up for me. Starting with Scott. I will miss you and all of them so much and think of you often. Love Pat

One of my happiest childhood memories is of Christmas Eve when the family would get together. Even after all these years I still remember your smile. The best gifts aren't always under the tree.

I've always had a special place in my heart for Mrs. and Mr. Love. I knew that that was what I wanted for a family. In all the times I was ever at your house you always gave me a hug or a head rub and made me feel safe. Thank you both but especially Ma Love. God is calling his troops up. You answered the call. Love ya'll Bridget and family

There was always a glow from the back door of your sitting room facing the lake. It was such a warm feeling as me and Alex ran up from the boat to your excited smile so that we could say "Look what we caught NANA!" holding up our catch of fish for the night. Your happiness and love will not be forgotten, I love you nana.

I miss you already though it's only been days. Mom, you were such a great example of a devoted wife and mother; you were a gift to all of us and I am so sad that you are gone, you were my best friend. I rejoice that I will see you again, and I know you are with God and watching over us. I love you Mom.

Aunt Jackie... Some of my earliest memories start at your house at the lake...my mom and I on Kim's horse, Scout and Scout wanting to go back to the barn. My mom and I were on that horse, he was going back in the barn with or without us on his back. My mom's hands were on the barn keeping us from going in, as she screamed out my dad's name! I remember how everybody laughed and laughed later that night at the dinner table! I always loved going to visit you, Aunt Jackie, because you were so funny, so loving, so caring and so absolutely genuine. What an absolutely delightful lady! This world has lost an amazing woman. You go hang out with your brothers (say "hi" to my Popie for me), hop on Scout and have him take you for a tour of heaven...though he might try to get back to his barn! Down here at the barn, we will miss you terribly, but we will catch up with you at the big lake in the sky (maybe that one won't have Alligators)! Love you so much and my thoughts and prayers are with all your loved ones! You will be missed!

Death is nothing at all ... I have only slipped away into the next room. Whatever we were to each other, we still are. Call me by my own familiar name. Speak to me in the easy way which you always used to . Laugh as we always laughed at the little jokes we enjoyed together. Play ... smile... think of me... pray for me. Let my name be the household word that is always was; there is absoulutely unbroken continuity. Why should I be out of your mind because I am out of your sight? I am but waiting for you, for an interval, somewhere very near just around the corner. All is well. Nothing is past; nothing is lost. One brief moment and all will be as it was before ... only better ... infinitely happier and forever .. we will all be one together with Jesus our Lord and Savior ... Carmelite Monastery ... Waterford, Ireland .... Condolences from the McDonald Family xxxxooo
