Obituary of Maureen E. Parrett

PARRETT, Maureen, 73, of Wesley Chapel, Fla., passed away on January 1, 2012. She was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to the bay area in 2000 from Long Island, NY. Maureen was a member of St. Marks Catholic Church. She was a retired registered nurse at the Lutheran Center Nursing Home. Maureen loved animals, cooking and watching British TV programs. She was a caregiver for her husband of 28 years, Woodrow. Maureen was preceded in death by her daughter, Tracy Ishida. She is survived by her husband, Woodrow; two daughters, Kelly Fox and her husband, Glenn of Tampa and Whitney Kedzie and her husband, Gerard of Charlotte, NC; sister, Margaret Healy of Guilford, Conn; two grandchildren, Jennifer Profeta and Melissa Kedzie. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at St. Mark the Evangelist Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Trinity Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
