Obituary of Edward Joseph Durbak

DURBAK, Edward Joseph, 86, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away Thursday, December 15, 2011. He was born in East Chicago, Indiana and moved to Land O’ Lakes in 1986. Edward was a United States Navy Veteran and served during WWII in the Seabees. He was a retired foreman from Inland Steel and a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy. He is survived by his two sons, David and his wife, Janice of Tampa, Fla. and Kenneth and his wife, Cathy of Largo, Fla.; three grandchildren, Keely, Kira and Danielle Durbak Tanner and her husband, Joshua. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on December 19 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at Loyless Funeral Home. Donations may be made in Edward’s memory to Suncoast Hospice.
