Obituary of Gary Alan Baughn

Gary Alan Baughn, age 43, died unexpectedly on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Tampa, Florida. Gary was born on July 30, 1968 in Danville, Indiana to loving parents, Rick & Linda Baughn. Gary’s childhood was only complete with his big brother, Randy Baughn. Gary’s life changed forever at the age of 23 when he joined his life as one with April Baughn, “The girl of his dreams”. In their marriage of almost 20 years together, they had 3 beautiful children, Tyler (18), Chase (14) and Savannah (12). Gary loved being a father and a husband more than anything else. He inspired others through his absolute and unwavering devotion to his family and to the Lord. Gary also loved riding his motorcycle, he loved music, NASCAR, The 3 Stooges and at the top of his list, helping others. Gary lived his life everyday loving so many in so many ways! Gary was a member and deacon of the North Boulevard Church of Christ in Tampa where he spent much of his time working for the Lord and for others. Although we all feel that Gary’s life was taken too soon, Gary has left behind a mark of Love that will live on FOREVER in so many hearts. Gary will be missed as a husband, father, uncle, son, brother, friend, brother in law, and servant to the lord. Gary is survived by his wife, April; two sons, Tyler and Chase; daughter, Savannah; parents, Richard and Linda Baughn; brother, Randy; five nieces; one nephew and many friends and family. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 14th at the North Boulevard Church of Christ. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the North Boulevard Church of Christ.
