Obituary of William T. Northington

NORTHINGTON, William T., 92, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away Monday, December 12, 2011. He was born in Prattville, Alabama and moved to Florida in the 1970’s. Bill was a United States Army Veteran and served during World War II. He was a member of the Epiphany of Our Lord Roman Catholic Church. He was a retired greens keeper and retired conductor with the railroad in Alabama. Bill was an avid Alabama football fan. He is preceded in death by his wife, Sadie and his daughter, Holly. He is survived by his son, Ed and his wife, Beth of Dothan, AL; grandchildren, Wade Williams and his wife, Kim, Brian Williams, Shannon Barron and her husband, Tim, Lynn Northington, Bill Northington; great grandchildren, Jackson Storey; Lydia Williams, T.J. Barron, Holly Barron and Lily Northington. Donations may be made in his memory to St. Jude or Epiphany of Our Lord Church. Bill’s final resting place will be in Marianna, Florida.
