Obituary of Francis A. Lesiecki

LESIECKI, Francis “Frank”, 86, of Land O’ Lakes, and formerly of Hegewisch, passed away Thursday, December 8, 2011. He was born in Chicago, IL, and moved to Florida in 1991. He served in the Navy during WWII aboard the USS Guest DD472 in the South Pacific Theatre including Iwo Jima & Okinawa Gunto. Frank was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Land O’ Lakes and Knights of Columbus 3rd & 4th degree. He was active in the Tin Can Sailors along with the American Legion Post 108 in Land O’ Lakes. He is survived by his wife, Rose of 60 years; daughters, Barbara Koch and husband Dan of St. Louis, Missouri, Diane Cramsey and Husband Richard of Liberty, Illinois and Elizabeth Frazier and husband Stephen of Lutz, Florida; sister, Irene Michuda of Highland, IN; many nieces and nephews; grandchildren, Adam, Gregory, Brian, Matthew, Timothy, Scott, Mary Elizabeth, Jeffrey and Daniel; great grandchildren, Xavier, Clara and Leo. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday, at Loyless Funeral Home. Donations may be made to National Wounded Warriors, American Heart Association, HPH Hospice or Pasco County Animal Services.
