Obituary of Martha Marie Adkins

ADKINS, Martha Marie, 81, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Friday, November 18, 2011. She was born in London, KY and moved to the bay area in 1964. Martha enjoyed gardening and caring for plants. She was known for her strong personality saddled on a sweet Kentucky lady. Martha is survived by her two sons, Jerry Burton of Wesley Chapel and Willard Adkins and his wife, Barbara of Land O’ Lakes; three daughters, Beverly Burton of Wesley Chapel, Debra Johnson of St. Augustine and Cherri Thompson and her husband, David of Temple Terrace; brother, Bob Brock and his wife, Erna; five grandchildren; two great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2011. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Her final resting place will be at Sunset Memory Gardens in Thonotosassa, FL.
