Obituary of Giovanni Lembo

LEMBO, Giovanni, 67, of Lutz, Florida passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013. He was born in Italy, grew up in Argentina, moved to Long Island at the age of 22 and in 1980 came to Florida. He was raised in the Catholic Faith. Giovanni was a natural born artist and used his talents in designing jewelry. He loved family and friends and was happiest when surround by good company and good food. Giovanni enjoyed singing for his family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mario and Maria Lembo and his first wife, Eva. He is survived by his wife, Martha Zapata; three sons, Mario Lemo, David Costello and Edward Andres Luppi; daughter in law, Melissa, two granddaughters, Madison Lembo and Kayla Costello; sisters, Ana Maria Lembo de Gerez and five nieces and nephews. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Our Lady of The Rosary Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Lembo Fund, 3602 S.W. 162nd Street, Arch, FL 32618.
