Obituary of W. LeRoy Eash

EASH, W. LeRoy, “Wink”, 71, of Lutz, Fla. passed away Saturday, January 5, 2013. He was born in Fairview, Michigan, moved to Valrico, Fla. from Atlanta, GA in 1979 and back to Lutz in 2007 after residing in Salt Lake City, UT for ten years. Wink worked in the plumbing and swimming pool industries. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Land O’ Lakes. He and his wife were one of the founding couples for Worldwide Marriage Encounter Ministry for United Methodist in Florida. He is preceded in death by a son, Craig Stanley Eash. He is survived by his wife of 53 years, Diana Nelson; three daughters, Janell Lockhart and her husband, John of Lutz, Janeen Salzgeber and her husband, Jim of Land O’ Lakes, Angela Howe and her husband, Davis of Tampa; three brothers, Norval and his wife, Louise of Bulls Gap, TN, Melvin and his wife, Mary Ann of Goshen, Indiana and Sarasota, Fla., Mervin and his wife, Sharon of Ft. Wayne, IN; eight grandchildren, Jay and Jill Lockhart; Ryan, Matthew and Peyton Salzegeber, Conner, Riley and Lindsey Howe. A celebration of Wink’s life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 12th at the First United Methodist Church of Land O’ Lakes. Donations may be made to “Wink’s” memorial at the First United Methodist Church of Land O’ Lakes or the Wounded Warrior Project.
