Obituary of Anthony V. Masella

MASELLA, Anthony, “Tony” Sr., 95, of Land O’ Lakes, passed away, Saturday, November 24, 2012. He was born in Niagara Falls, NY and moved to Land O’ Lakes from Ashtabula, OH in 1989. Tony served in The Army Air Corps. He retired from Union Carbide and was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus and the American Legion. He is preceded in death by his son, James, his mother and father, two sisters, brother and a grandchild. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Olga (Ollie); son, Anthony, Jr.; three daughters, Carol Gaitan, Mary Ann (Winston) Churchill, LuAnn Masella; nine grandchildren, Dr. Wendy Churchill, Corey Churchill, Jennifer Bissette, Christina Barber, Martin Gaitan, Cody Masella, Benea Masella, Jerad Brown, Kyle Brown. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday evening at Loyless Funeral Home.
