Obituary of Vincent John Nasso

NASSO, Vincent John, 82, of Land O’ Lakes, Florida passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2012. He was born in Brooklyn, New York. Vincent was a United States Army Veteran and served his country for almost 40 years. In addition to serving in the Army, he was an engineering technician at the Brooklyn Navy Yard and Naval Ship Research and Development Center in Annapolis. Vincent was a life time member of the American Legion and U. S. Lighthouse Society. He belonged to the USF Catholic Center. Vincent is preceded in death by his first wife, Frances; parents, Giosue and Santina; brothers, Peter and Joseph and sister, Theresa. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Jill; son, Michael and his wife, Jacqueline; daughter, Corey Long and her husband, Stephen; brother, Carmine; sister, Joan Prisco and her husband, John; four grandchildren, Kelsie, Brylie, Ava, Michael and his large extended family and friends. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Vincent’s memory to any charity, church or organization of your choosing. A celebration of Vincent's life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday November 24th at the USF Catholic Center, 13005 N. 50th Street, Temple Terrace, FL 33617. Vincent's final resting place will be at the Florida National Cemetery. The comittal services will be held at 2:00 p.m on December 13th.
