Obituary of Rose Ann H. Volz

VOLZ, Rose Ann H., 74, of Wesley Chapel, Florida passed away Tuesday, November 13, 2012. She was born in Jeffersontown, Kentucky to Frederick and Gladys Povey and moved to Florida in 1972. Rose Ann retired as a cafeteria manager after 27 years with Quail Hollow Elementary School. She loved her family, enjoyed doting on her grandchildren and was also the family champion at scrabble. She is preceded in death by her two brothers, George Povey and Charles Povey and her sister, Frieda Bryant. She is survived by her husband of 27 years, Gene; daughter, Janet Helm; three sons, David Helm, James Helm, Jr. and Gene Volz, Jr.; brothers, Thaddeus Povey and his wife, Pauline of Jeffersontown, KY; 7 grandchildren, Charlie, Brandi, Kristen, David, Derek, James III and Angie; and 5 great grandchildren, Caden, Alanna, Cael, Corbin and Landon. Services will be private. Rose Ann’s final resting place will be at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell.
