Obituary of Esther Anita Denker

DENKER, Esther A. “Ann”, 68, of Brooksville, Fla. passed away Monday, October 29, 2012. She was born in Baltimore, MD and moved to Fla. in 1972. Ann earned a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Florida. She then devoted her passion for serving others and utilized her nurturing skills to care for her children and family farm. Ann opened her arms and home to three foster children, Darren, Lee and Katie Wells and was also co-founder of the Land O’ Lakes Chapter of Parents Anonymous. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Martin; two sons, Daniel and Richard; mother, Esther “Mabel” McGee; brother, Vernon McGee, Jr. and his daughter, Shane. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday November 12th at Spring Lake United Methodist Church in Brooksville. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
