Obituary of Jaime Luna

LUNA, Jaime, “Jim”, 62, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away Monday, September 3, 2012. He was born in Manhattan, NY and moved to Land O’ Lakes from Mill Creek, WA in 2001. A veteran of the United States Navy he retired as a Chief Petty Officer specializing in electronics and communications. Jim earned his Business BA and an MBA at Columbia College. He later became a senior tax specialist and was an advocate for the Hispanic community in the IRS. Jim was a member of Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. He is survived by his wife, Vicki Luna; two sons, Antonio and Francisco and his wife, Cynthia; daughter, Brandi O’Haegher and her husband, Michael; sister, Lilian McCabe; five grandchildren, Liam, Reina, Aiden, Donavin, Kyra and Parker. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, September 10th at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday evening at Loyless Funeral Home.
