Obituary of William Henry Harrison Hoedt

HOEDT, William Henry Harrison, 75, of Lutz, FL passed away Saturday, November 5, 2011. He was born in Tampa, and was the owner and operator of Florida Land Surveying Service. William was an active member of Tims Memorial Presbyterian Church in Lutz. He served as an elder and participated in the men’s Tuesday morning breakfast fellowship. He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest and Mabel; and brother, Fredrick Rudolph Lewis Hoedt. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Phyllis J. Hoedt; son, Lawrence Walden Rene “Wally” and wife Deborah; daughter, Sarah Sabrina Bridges; grandson, Benjamin John Bridges; sister, Florence Julia King; 5 nephews, Richard, Edward, Dusty, Del, and Randy; and niece, Mabel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Citizens for the Old Lutz School Building for preservation purposes, c/o Elaine Pittman 105 2nd Avenue S. E., Lutz, FL 33549-4318. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Friday at Tims Memorial Presbyterian Church. Interment will follow at Lutz Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at Loyless Funeral Home.
