Obituary of William Lee White

WHITE, William Lee, 71, of Tampa, Fla., passed away Thursday, October 13, 2011. He was born in Phillipsburg, PA and moved to Fla., from Maryland in 1963. William was a U.S. Army Veteran and served during the Korean War. He was part of the Korean Military Advisory Group. He was an iron worker and formed his own construction company in 1973. After many years in construction, his love of cars drew him into the automobile industry where he retired in 2003. William is preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah. He is survived by his wife and best friend of 52 years, Reba; three daughters, Sharon Robinson and her husband, David of Bradenton, Fla., Cheryl Steed and her husband, Jerry of Orlando, Fla., Kimberly Vetzel and her husband, Ken of Land O’ Lakes, Fla.; five grandchildren, Rex, Spencer, Max, Hunter and Hayley; along with his brothers, sisters and extended family members in Pennsylvania and Maryland. Donations may be made in his memory to LifePath Hospice. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 22, 2011 at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
