Obituary of Henry Charles Merrifield

MERRIFIELD, Henry Charles, 90, of Lutz, Fla., passed away Saturday, August 20, 2011. He was born in IL and moved to Lutz in 1988. Henry was a U. S. Army Veteran serving during World War II specializing as a Decoder. Henry was an avid outdoorsman enjoying fishing and hunting. He also enjoyed reading and history. He is survived by his wife, Marilynn; two daughters, Barbara Kay Randolph and her husband, Steve D. of Lutz and Nancy Lynne Stewart and her husband, Louis V. of Kingston, Jamaica; brother, James of Springfield, IL; four grandchildren, Angel Megher, Travis Stewart, Cari Hendryx, Trevor Randolph; eighteen great grandchildren, Forrest, Jordan, Roger, Chase, Hannah, Ashley, Russell, Sarah, Raymond, Desirae, Joshua, Josiah, Brent, Rachael, Brandon, Christina, Emily and Bethany. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday at Loyless Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Military honors will be conducted at the Florida National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Friday afternoon.
