Obituary of Rey F. Martinez

MARTINEZ, Rey F. “Cholo”, 59, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away, Monday, August 8, 2011. He was born in Bayamon, Puerto Rico and moved to Land O’ Lakes in 2010. Cholo was a retired automotive collision repairman. He enjoyed fishing and going to La Esquina to drink Palo Viejo and talk. He is preceded in death by his brother, Luis Martinez. He is survived by his two sons, Rey Martinez and his wife, Rebeca Godoy and Francisco Martinez and his wife, Fransue; daughter, Nery Martinez and her husband, Miguel Melendez and their mother, Belkys Acevedo; parents, Francisco “Paco” Martinez and Petra Tovar; brothers, Efren, Hector and Josie; sisters, Priscilla and Nilda; six grandchildren. A memorial service and burial will be held in Puerto Rico at a later date.
