Obituary of Aurelia Ann Miller

MILLER, Aurelia Ann “Ree”, 78, of Melbourne Beach, Fla., passed away Thursday, August 4, 2011. She was born in Utica, New York, attended Conklin Elementary and Proctor High School. She met her husband, Vernon of 55 years, while working at General Electric, as a secretary, in Utica, NY. Ree stayed home to raise her six children, then went back to work as a secretary at Sanders Corporation in Nashua, NH, then Digital Equipment Corporation, in Merrimack, NH and later in Melbourne, Fla., she worked at Harris Corporation. She was an artist and her memberships included the Vero Beach Art Club, Melbourne Art Club and Nashua Art Association. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Erminia Bruni and her brother, Edmund Bruni. She is survived by her husband, Vernon; children, Matthew Miller (Arlene), Kathleen Guest (Phil), David Miller (Karen), Stephen Miller (Julie), Glenn Miller (Martha) and Paul Miller (Lorna); two sisters; Sylvia Majka (Joe) and Joanne Funicello (Bob); twelve grandchildren, Jennifer, Greg, Christopher, Phillip, Rebecca, Michael, Adam, Caleb, Eliza, Stella, Evan, Sydney and one great grandson, Cole. The family will receive friends on Thursday evening August 11 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Loyless Funeral Home. A memorial mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, August 13 at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church.
