Obituary of Jane Campaigne

CAMPAIGNE, Jane S., of Tampa, Fla., passed away Friday, July 29, 2011. She was born in St. Louis, MO on May 26, 1942, and lived in Bloomington, IN; Glen Ellyn, IL; Indianapolis, IN; and Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla. She moved from Statesboro, GA to Tampa in 2002. Jane was a college student affairs professional serving the Greek life community at Indiana University and Georgia Southern University. She was a member of Delta Gamma Fraternity, and she lived her professional life in the consummate Pan-Hellenic spirit. She was also a member of the Episcopal Church and Daughters of the American Revolution. Jane graduated from University High School and held Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, John and Fayne Steinbeck and her brother, John Steinbeck. She is survived by her husband, David Campaigne of Tampa; daughter, Gillian Overly and her husband, Chris of Bloomington, IN; son, Christian Campaigne and his wife, Jill of Mt. Pleasant, SC and three grandchildren, Matthew Rogers, Nicholas and Abigail Overly of Bloomington, IN.
