Obituary of Monique A Huyghe

HUYGHE, Monique A., 77, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla., passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011. She was born in Wetteren Belgium and moved to the Bay Area in 1994. Monique was a retired registered nurse and an active resident of The Groves. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and spending time with her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willy. She is survived by her son, Bernie and his wife, Mira of San Diego, CA; two daughters, Brigitte Arnold and her husband, Bret of Tampa and Cathy Peters and her husband, Scott of Gainesville, Fla.; brother, Daniel Audenaerde and his wife, Denise of Belgium; six grandchildren, Madison, Joshua, Rachel, Ryan, Michael and Samantha. A funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday at Loyless Funeral Home. Interment will be at The Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, Fla. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
