Obituary of Soraida Cortez

CORTEZ, Soraida, 57, of Land O’ Lakes, Fla. passed away Sunday, July 10, 2011. She was born in New York, NY and moved to Florida from North Carolina in 2003. She was a faithful servant of Jehovah, loved by the congregation; Soraida always put the needs of others before her own. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Michael A. Cortez; sons, Jonathan Cortez and his wife, Jennifer of Wesley Chapel, Fla; Stephen Cortez and his wife, Monique of Land O’ Lakes, Fla; brother, Alberto Rosario, Jr. of Pennsylvania; sisters, Carmen Sergura of New Jersey and Luz Roman and her husband, John of Jacksonville, Fla; grandchildren, Amaya, Maddox and Aria. A memorial service will be held at 3:00 PM at the Kingdom Hall, Livingston Ave., Lutz, FL Saturday July 16, 2011. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
